Gland Switzerland Project
Wellness Residences
This limited competition called for the development of Wellness Homes on two sites in the town of Gland, Switzerland, bordering lake Geneva.
Wellness homes are flexible in evolving with their owners. It is very important that homes adapt to their changing lifestyles and life stages to come with a variety of floor plan options.
The new neighborhood includes a community garden and Wellness Pavilion with halo-therapy and an immersive environment fitness zone, and community area. Each home includes a fully fitted Wellness Kitchen, biophilic elements, restorative beds, circadian lighting, savant audio and “sleep rooms” (as opposed to “bedrooms”), allergy monitors, as well as a bonus “wellness room”. The entire project “software” includes on-demand Wellness services coach, weekly wellness programming as well as home control lock-and-leave features.
